"All these distancesPut together
Sewing the body of water."
Anna Broms' process-oriented practice unfolds through experimental installations that explore porousness, subtle interactions, and gradual transformations—from underwater moving images to audio recordings of her public spatial pieces.
Broms' recent works unfold as public rituals—fragile yet rigorous sequences of movements, sounds, shapes, materials, colours, and scents. She offers hints rather than commentary through organically emerging interactions and resonances. Her works serve as containers of time charged with liveliness—not only her own, but also that of her co-creators: water, soil, and fabrics.
